Colin spent 20 years as Financial Director and latterly CEO of Staniforth, Manchester’s biggest PR agency which he saw grow from six to 60 people. Following the sale of Staniforth to the Omnicom Group, Colin is now a director and consultant for a range of communications companies and is a founder partner of LIFE. A chartered accountant, who previously worked for KPMG, Colin’s passion is golf and rugby, supporting Sale Sharks

Emma has worked in PR for nearly 20 years and ran Manchester’s biggest PR agency Staniforth. Before that, she set up McCann Erickson’s Manchester PR office and worked for the award-winning Grayling group. Hands-on in all her roles, she has created and implemented national PR campaigns for some of Britain’s best-known brands. Emma has also worked as a journalist for the BBC and Manchester Evening News/Guardian group.

A hands-on consultant and top creative, Joanna has worked in PR both in-house and agency side for several years and ran the Manchester office of Beattie Media. Before that, she worked as a broadcast journalist and television series producer and has been responsible for some of popular t.v’s most memorable moments including Trisha, Jerry Springer, Fame Academy and T4.

Paul has worked in PR for 10 years, his last role as Financial Director of Staniforth, Manchester’s biggest agency. Savvy and with a keen understanding of the business, Paul ensures the smooth running of all commercial activity for LIFE, including sourcing the best deals for our partners and ensuring the billing process is as painless as possible. He has a degree in Finance and is a fellow of the ACCA but is much more interesting than your average accountant.
